Rust College Men's Tennis Launches 2025 Season Under New Leadership of Coach Venecca Green
Coach Green's arrival marks a new era for Rust College Men's Tennis. The program has added dynamic talent to its roster with top recruits such as Joshua Jackson and Ali-Kparah Moubarak. Joshua Jackson is a three-time district champion from the Jackson Public School District, a recipient of the Powers Moore Award, and has represented Mississippi at the NJTL at the US Open. Ali-Kparah Moubarak, regarded as one of the best players from his country, further elevates the team's competitive edge.
Although the majority of the season's matches will be played on the road, Rust College will host several key contests in close proximity to Holly Springs. Notably, two of the closest matches are scheduled in Southaven on March 28 and in Memphis on April 11, where the Bearcats will face their rival LeMoyne-Owen College in highly anticipated matchups.
"I'm excited to lead this program into a new season and build a competitive team with our talented recruits," said Coach Venecca Green. "We have a strong foundation, and I'm confident that our commitment and passion will propel us to new heights."
