Rust College Softball's Rha'Khaya Jones Named HBCUAC Conference Softball Player of the Week
During a challenging week of competition against conference opponent Voorhees University and Division 2 Lane College, Jones delivered an exceptional performance. She tallied 5 runs scored, 7 RBIs, 4 stolen bases, and 1 home run, while posting an outstanding batting average of .636.
"Rha'Khaya's performance this week has been truly impressive," said Head Coach Kendrick Vivians. "Her immediate impact as a freshman shows her incredible talent and work ethic. We are excited to see her continue to develop and contribute to our team's success."
Looking ahead, the Bearcats will continue their season with upcoming series against Mississippi Delta Community College, another matchup with Voorhees University, and Crowley's Ridge. Fans are encouraged to follow the team's progress and support the Bearcats as they build on this exciting start.
