Rust College’s Malik Berrien Named HBCUAC Baseball Player of the Week

Berrien's impact was felt in all facets of the game, as he recorded eight total RBIs, launched a home run against Harris Stowe University, stole four bases, and crossed the plate nine times. His impressive offensive output was highlighted by a .488 batting average, making him a key contributor to the Bearcats' success throughout the week.

 

"Malik has been a consistent force for us this season, and his hard work is paying off," said Head Coach John Bates. "He brings energy, leadership, and playmaking ability every time he steps on the field, and this recognition is well deserved."
