#MustangsWin! CBC Dominates Rust For Win Number 11!

            Conway, Ark. – Playing for the first time in nine days, Central Baptist College volleyball was back on the court at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse tonight to take on the Bearcats of Rust College. CBC (11-9) dominated the match, sweeping RC (8-21) 3-0 to take the season series.

            Madeline Freeman led the way with nine kills and hit .300 while Molly Murphy led with 14 assists and Freeman also led in digs with 12. CBC had 37 kills and hit .200 while holding Rust to just 15 kills and a -.084 hitting percentage.

MUSTANG NOTES

  • CBC is now 9-0 all-time against the Bearcats
  • CBC finished with eight blocks (four solo, eight assisted)
  • Faith Stone had six blocks of her own, three solo and three assisted
  • CBC had eight service aces and received perfectly on the night, committing 0 service errors
  • Mikayla Lawrence continues to approach 1,500 digs, sitting now at 1,410

            The Mustangs head to the road tomorrow night for an American Midwest Conference match against the Owls of William Woods. First serve from Anderson Arena in Fulton, Mo., is scheduled for 6 p.m.
