Lady Panthers Fight Back To Take The Win On The Road

Holly Springs, MS- PSU had an amazing victory over RC in a thrilling match that lasted 5 sets. Philander Smith University volleyball team had to dig deep to keep their win streak against Rust College alive, as PSU came back from losing the first two sets of the match. The PSU volleyball team won the last three sets to seal the deal against Rust. The final score was 3-2 in favor of PSU, the final scores for each set were 17-25, 13-25, 25-13, 25-18, and 15-10.

One of the standout players of the game was Zarea Winn, who really dominated the court. She had a remarkable 21 kills, along with 16 digs and 3 blocks. It was truly an exceptional performance from her. 

Another player that deserves recognition is Kiah Rucker. She contributed 9 kills and 6 blocks, showcasing her skills and making a significant impact on the game.

 Lastly, let's not forget about Essence Wren. Her amazing 46 assists were crucial in setting up successful plays for the team. Her contribution was instrumental in securing the victory for PSU. 

Overall, it was an exhilarating match filled with talented players and outstanding teamwork. We're incredibly proud of our team's accomplishments, and we can't wait to see what they'll achieve next!
