Rust Top Performers:
- Shemaar Stapleton extended his team home run lead with his fifth long ball of 2024, a solo shot, while topping the squad with a .500 batting average (2-for-4), two runs scored, and two walks along with a stolen base.
- JaShaun Franks only played in one of the matchups but had a solid showing, smacking a double, walking, and scoring over three plate appearances.
- Kyrent Cole was the only other Baseball Bearcat with multiple base knocks, logging both a single plus a two-bagger, stole a pair of bases, coaxed a ball four, and crossed the plate once.
- Jalen Ward contributed a scoreless inning of relief on the mound, giving up just one hit and nothing more.
