BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Rust College men's basketball program lost the rebounding battle (43-38) but won the war, taking down Lyon College in a hard-fought slugfest by four (66-62).
Christopher Agbo narrowly missed a double-double, registering ten boards and nine points on 4-of-5 (80%) shooting.
Keshon Tabb led the scoring with 13 points and a 46% field-goal percentage while swiping more steals himself (6) than the entire Lyon team (5).
Twins Wesley and Malik Anderson went for 21 points, seven boards, a steal apiece and an assist while going 7-for-13 (54%) from the field.
The Blue and White will meet an old nemesis Sunday at 1 p.m. when former GCAC rival Talladega College storms into Holly Springs for a bigtime non-conference matchup.
