Bearcats Go Cold In Second Half At Tougaloo

JACKSON, Miss. – The Rust College men's basketball program held a ten-point lead at intermission but made only 28% of its shot attempts in the second half as it dropped the ballgame by a 66-55 score.

Keshon Tabb led the Blue and White in both points (14) and assists (7) with the latter being a game-best, converting four triples on eight tries (50%) and 5-of-11 (45.5%) overall.

Terrell Jennings matched Tabb's point total at 14 while also grabbing a team-high six boards to go along with two blocks.

Ronald Strothers was the third Rust student-athlete to score in double-digits, dropping 11 on the Bulldogs plus four rebounds and a pair of blocks.

Malik Anderson co-led the Bearcats with six rebounds as well as five points and an assist.

RC will not have long to dwell on its mistakes as it hosts Philander Smith in the McMillan Center on Saturday evening at 7 p.m.
