Coach Stephen Earns First Career Win Versus Fisk

HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College men's basketball program fought valiantly for interim Head Coach and Athletic Director Jarvis Stephen, giving him his first career victory at the helm of the Bearcats in a 69-59 triumph over the Fisk Bulldogs.

Jordan Watkins led the Blue and White with 15 points, primarily from the free-throw line where he was 7-for-9.

Ronald Strothers got back on track with a solid 13 points while picking up a pair of rebounds, steals, assists and blocks.

Keshon Tabb continues to dish out assists like Halloween candy, setting up seven buckets and securing 11 points of his own to go along with five boards and two steals.

Coach Stephen's men will look to make it two in-a-row at Philander Smith College at 7 p.m. on Saturday in Little Rock, Arkansas.
