LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Rust College men's basketball program was fighting some shooting demons on top of the Bleu Devils on Saturday afternoon, shooting just 36.5% overall and 22.2% from three during a 68-58 setback.
Jayden Stephens was one of the few Cats to be on-point shooting-wise, dropping a team-high 18 points on 7-of-14 (50%) shooting with seven boards, three assists, a steal plus a block.
Davonte Craven was the game's top rebounder with ten and also put together a double-double with ten points as well as notching Rust's lone multi-block outing.
Damonte Streate had a very generous soul, dishing out a contest-best half-dozen assists while Jonathon Bentley recorded 12 points plus a trio of steals and dimes.
Sunday evening the Bearcats will play its last true road matchup of the regular season, facing the PSC Panthers at 7 p.m. on its home floor.
