Offense Stalls In Loss At Philander Smith

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Rust College men's basketball program scored a season-low 49 points and did not have a single player score in double-digits in Sunday night's defeat against the Panthers.

 

Christopher Hood was the team's top scorer at nine points, stole a contest-best five passes, had an equal number of rebounds (5), dropped two dimes, and made one of the club's three triples on the evening.

 

Xavier Evans led the Blue and White with four assists on top of seven points, six boards and a pair of steals while Catthadious Moore hauled in a game-high eight rebounds plus a steal on 3-of-4 (75%) shooting for seven points.

 

The Bearcats will honor its lone senior, Kris Huntsman, for Senior Night on Friday at 7:30 p.m. when they host the one-loss Tougaloo Bulldogs inside Kinzell Lawson Gymnasium.
