Bearcats Hit Century Mark To Slay Knights In Double Overtime
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Rust College men's basketball program hit the 100-point plateau for the first time in over a calendar year, December 2, 2022 versus Crowley's Ridge, as they took down SUNO and the continuous GCAC Player of the Week Jamal Gibson in an epic double overtime thriller, 100-98.

Rust Top Performers:
- Christopher Hood was a man of many talents, dropping 16 points on 7-of-12 (58.3%) in addition to a team-high six assists and eight rebounds
- Jordin Jackson led the scoring charge with a Bearcat-best 19 points as well as a half-dozen dimes plus four boards.
- Bryson Wooten cashed in a near double-double for the evening, pouring in 15 points and a team-most nine rebounds.
- Other notables were Jalin Thomas with 16 points and five assists, Khalil Brown's 13 points and Xavier Evans' 11 points on top of a contest-high four steals.
