Bearcats Break Out Of Funk With Dominant Win Over Dillard

HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College men's basketball program tied for its largest margin of victory on the season and erased a four-game losing streak in impressive fashion on Thursday evening, scorching the Bleu Devils for a 24-point, 81-57 win.

Rust Top Performers: 

• The starting five nearly all scored in double-digits with Catthadious Moore's game-high 18 leading the charge, followed by Christopher Hood's 13, then Xavier Evans' 11, and finally Khalil Brown's ten. The only one to not cross the threshold was Ronald Berkley, but he still contributed a smooth nine.

• Moore seemed to have re-found his All-Conference form, connecting on 9-of-13 (69.2%) attempts including seven boards and three assists.

• Evans produced his second double-double of the year and first in GCACtion as he cleaned up the glass to the tune of ten rebounds as well as a trio of dimes, one of the club's two steals, and its only block.

• Hood was responsible for the other steal and also dropped three assists too, sinking all six of his shots from the free throw line.

• Brown collected a half-dozen boards to go along with his ten in the scoring column while Jordin Jackson played the role of key distributor with a contest-best five assists.
