Men Start Winning Streak Behind Brown’s Double-Double
HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College men's basketball program has strung together back-to-back triumphs for the first time in two months after slaying the Knights from Southern University of New Orleans, 67-60.

Rust Top Performers:
- Khalil Brown recorded his first career double-double as a Bearcat, notching a Bearcat-best 17 points, 12 rebounds and two assists on top of three steals plus a block.
- Christopher Hood put together a solid 15 points and a half-dozen boards while stealing a contest-most three steals.
- Xavier Evans was the lone student-athlete on either side to play the full 40 minutes, going for 11 and four regarding points and rebounds, respectively.
- Jordin Jackson was the fourth and final player to reach double-digits, logging ten points with Bryson Wooten averaging an assist for every 30 seconds of play with two in four minutes.
