Bearcats Fall To Wildcats In Overtime

HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College men's basketball program had a pair of student-athletes contribute double-doubles, however, the Blue and White came up just shy to Wiley in a three-point, overtime setback.

Rust Top Performers: 

• Khalil Brown went for his second straight double-double, fronting the Bearcats with 18 points (6-for-13, 46.2%) and a game-high 14 rebounds in addition to a Rust-best three assists and steals as he played all 40 minutes.

• Catthadious Moore joined his teammate in the double-double club on the evening, putting together his fifth of 2023-24 courtesy of 17 points and 11 boards as well as a trio of dimes while converting 7-of-11 (63.6%).

• Christopher Hood was third on the scoring ladder for RC, going for 14 via a 66.7 field goal percentage (4-for-6) while Xavier Evans was the last player in double-digits at an even dozen.
