Evans & Hood Drop 25+ Each As Men Take Down Oakwood
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Rust College men's basketball program rode the hot shooting hands of Xavier Evans and Christopher Hood along with stellar two-way play from Catthadious Moore to a road win on Wednesday evening, 88-80.

Rust Top Performers:
- Evans (26) and Hood (25) were not to be stopped in the Rocket City, blasting off for 51 points between the two while shooting a combined 20-for-36 (55.6%) on field goals.
- Evans dropped a double-double that included eight offensive boards (12 total) with a perfect 8-of-8 showing at the charity stripe.
- Hood made one of the club's two money balls, hauled in seven rebounds of his own, and led the defense with a quartet of steals.
- Moore has now put together back-to-back double-double performances, producing ten points and rebounds apiece on top of three assists.
- Jordin Jackson was happy to assist, passing out six dimes to top either side while Keron Bailey came off the pine to score eight points plus four rebounds.
