HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College women's basketball program held a six-point lead going into the locker room at the half but a nine-point swing (16-7) in the third quarter was the difference in a 59-56 setback.
Faith Cattouse was the only Lady Bearcat to score in the double-digits, posting a team-best 11 points including a perfect 3-for-3 from deep and making half of her overall shot attempts.
Taniah Bowers tied for the squad lead in two statistical categories with five boards and a pair of assists while Katie Blackmon logged the lone block for Coach Jackson's ladies.
The Blue and White are back to work on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. when they host Morris College.
