HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College women's basketball program got Texarkana back from its defeat on Friday, handing TAMUT its first loss of the season, 86-81.
India Green and Ahmari Young tied for the game-high scoring output with 15 apiece, combining for ten boards and three assists as well.
The queen of double-doubles was at it again as Katie Blackmon produced a game-best 12 rebounds plus ten points while leading the team in steals with three and blocking the only shot of the night for Rust College.
Shuntorri Rodgers was able to break the double-digit threshold with 11, Amelya Hatch dropped nine points and a contest-best five assists, and Niya McGuire was a perfect 4-for-4 from the floor with nine points to finish off the notables for Head Coach Eric Jackson Jr.
