TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Rust College women's basketball program got back at (RV) Stillman on their home floor after the Lady Tigers did the same to them last month, enacting revenge with a 62-54 triumph.
Katie Blackmon was the game's top rebounder at seven boards while going for a team-high 11 points on 5-of-9 (55.6%) shooting.
Zoe Alexander also went for double-figure points (10) as well and tied with Blackmon for the boards lead (7).
Shuntorri Rodgers accounted for three of the Lady Bearcats' four blocks, which ended up being the most by all contest participants.
Lyric Turner was the third and final Rust student-athlete to break the ten-point threshold, putting up that exact number while swiping a tied for game-most three steals.
Next on the schedule is a non-countable exhibition game with Holy Patriot on December 13 at home (5 p.m.) before taking part in the Cactus Classic down in Phoenix, Arizona with its first matchup being against Montana State-Northern at 8 p.m. central time on December 20.
