NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Rust College women's basketball program had little trouble brushing off the GCAC newcomers from the USCAA, building a 15-point halftime advantage and cruising from there to a 70-50 rout.

The Blue and White dominated in numerous aspects including field-goal percentage (38.1% to 31.6%), three-point percentage (36.7% to 15.8%), rebounds (45 to 39), and assists (17 to 7).

Karyn Ford led a balanced scoring attack with a game-most 12 points plus five rebounds and a steal.

Madison Riley fronted all rebounders with eight on top of ten points and a tied for team-high two steals.
