HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College women's basketball program fell for the first time during the 2023 calendar year and its first home GCAC game in over two years as the PSC Lady Panthers came into the Bearcats Den and came away victorious, 72-62.

 

Three ladies scored in double-digits, led by Lyric Turner's 11 followed by Faith Cattouse and Dekeriya Patterson at ten apiece.

 

Karyn Ford was the contest's top rebounder with eight boards while Turner and Ahmari Young were the only ones with multiple assists.

 

Zoe Alexander had the most steals for Coach Jackson (3) to go along with Katie Blackmon providing the club's lone block.

 

The Blue and White will attempt to start a fresh streak on Friday in Little Rock on the Lady Panthers' home floor, facing Fisk University at noon inside Mims Gymnasium.
