Lady Bearcats Hand Stillman First Loss Of The Season, 63-43

HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College women's basketball program was held in check for most of the evening, but the defense never gave Stillman much of a fighting chance as the Tigers limited the Lady Bearcats to 63 points but could only score 43 themselves as the Blue and White ended up with a 20-point margin.

• Diamond Sweats was almost the entire offense Monday night, scoring 23 points (23-of-63, 36.5%) on 9-for-16 (56.3%) shooting and six rebounds plus a pair of steals and an assist. She is currently averaging 22 points per game with a field-goal percentage of 65.9% through three contests this year.

• Niya McGuire led all student-athletes at nine boards and collected a dime's worth of points, spending the most minutes on the floor of all players with 34.

• Taniah Bowers and Zoe Alexander both pickpocketed a trio of steals to front the squad while Shuntorri Rodgers and Musharapha Alhassan each sent a pair of shots packing.
