HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College women's basketball program took care of business, returning to campus and acting like they never left with a defensive masterclass during an 89-28 drubbing of the Virgin Islands.

Rust Top Performers:
- Diamond Sweats did what she does best, leading the team with a game-high 19 points on 9-of-14 (64.3%) shooting, just missing her second double-double at another contest-best of nine boards along with a trio of assists and steals.
- Joining the split rebounding crown for the contest was Karyn Ford and Nyekuar Quik with nine apiece, combining for 15 points as well off the bench.
- Kennedi Green wasted no time racking up assist after assist, pouring in a half-dozen dimes over less than ten minutes of time.
- Blesseth Dillingham was fantastic in her off-the-ball skills per usual, picking off a match-high four steals, dishing out three assists, grabbing two boards, and making a bucket.
- Three other ladies in Blue and White crossed into double-figures regarding the scoring department as Zoe Alexander, Ahmari Young, and Amelya Hatch contributed ten each while Musharapha Alhassan posted a solid eight points plus five rebounds, three offensively.
