HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College women's basketball program received more pushback than expected from a gritty Lady Bulldog squad, but the Blue and White survived an off night to still win by double-figures, 68-57.

  • Niya McGuire was a force off the bench per usual, pouring in 15 points with a 54.5% (6-for-11) conversion rate in addition to a Bearcat-best seven rebounds, tying with Musharapha Alhassan for the top spot among teammates.

 

  • Amelya Hatch put together contest-highs regarding both assists (4) as well as steals (3) while Blesseth Dillingham also snagged a trio of swipes on the defensive end.

 

  • Ahmari Young hit double-digits on the scoreboard by going for exactly ten, benefiting from being the lone Bearcat to connect from distance twice to go along with nabbing five rebounds.
