Top-Seeded Ladies Will Get A Chance To Three-Peat As Tournament Champions
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The #1 Rust College women's basketball program will attempt to make it back-to-back-to-back GCAC Tournament Championships on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. after fighting off the #4 Dillard Bleu Devils for a 73-57 victory in the semifinals.

Rust Top Performers:
- Diamond Sweats had one of the better games of her stellar season, going for a game-high 20 points and ten rebounds for her second double-double of the campaign as well as her first since early December, knocking down 9-of-14 (64.3%) shots.
- Kennedi Green scored 16 points in a matter of only 14 minutes, going 4-for-7 (57.1%) and 2-for-4 (50%) from distance while also leading the dominant defense in steals at four.
- Amelya Hatch logged 11 points, primarily from the free throw line (7-of-8, 87.5%), in addition to registering the contest's highest assist total of four, tying with Blesseth Dillingham and Dillard's Cassidy Lowe, plus three steals and five boards.
- Niya McGuire did not lead in one particular area but was well-rounded in all facets as she put together a stat line of 14 points (6-for-11, 54.5%), five rebounds, and one of the club's trio of blocks.
