Women’s Basketball Heads To Dubuque, Iowa As #10 Seed In Duer Quadrant

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Rust College women's basketball program will make its way to the Hawkeye State for this year's edition of the NAIA National Tournament as the Lady Bearcats landed in the Duer Quadrant for the second straight season and were given the tenth seed.

The Blue and White will take on #7 Dakota Wesleyan out of the Great Plains Athletic Conference in the Opening Round on Friday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. CT inside the Robert & Ruth Kehl Center on the campus of Clarke University.

Head Coach Eric Jackson Jr.'s warriors will look to make it three consecutive years with a First Round victory and if they can get by the Tigers, the women from Holly Springs, Mississippi would then take on either #15 Ozarks (Missouri) or the host #2 Clarke Pride on Saturday, March 16 at 5:30 p.m. with a chance for its first ever trip to the NAIA Round of 16. If they are able to advance that far, they would be venturing only 300 miles directly west from their original destination as the 2023-24 Championship site takes place on the opposite end of the state in Sioux City.
