COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Rust College volleyball program saw not one but two Lady Bearcats notch double-doubles as Rust took the third set from MUW in a 3-1 setback.
Deja Campbell topped all game participants with 15 kills while racking up ten digs, contributing two assists and a block solo as well.
Jasmine Coleman chose the defensive route on her way to a double-double, digging a contest-high 15 balls and clubbing 12 kills to the tune of a .276 hitting percentage.
Michelene Coleman joined her teammates with a double-digit defensive display and Jelisa Alexander averaged 6.25 assists per set on the afternoon.
The women from Holly Springs have a home match with the LeMoyne-Owen Magicians on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
