HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College volleyball program came into the season having never beaten the Wiley Wildcats but have now taken both matches against their conference rivals from the Lone Star State, coming away victorious with a 3-1 victory on Saturday afternoon.

  • Saraih Taylor tied for the match lead with 29 assists (7.25 p/s) while Gabriella Gabriel smacked a team-high 12 kills (3.00 p/s) on top of hitting .296.

 

  • Annie Narvaez led all participants by notching 18 digs (4.50 p/s) in addition to her third career kill.

 

  • Paige Eason nearly earned herself a double-double for the first time, putting up her second double-figure kill match of the year (10, 2.50 p/s) plus another nine digs (2.25 p/s).

 

  • Deja Campbell contributed a dozen digs (3.00 p/s) to go along with eight kills (2.00 p/s) and Kennedi Coleman has turned into a quality second setting option for Coach Armstrong, tallying her second straight contest with ten or more assists (10, 2.50 p/s).
