Cross Country To Compete In Five Meets, Includes Second Consecutive Rust Invitational

HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. – The Rust College men's and women's cross country programs announced its 2023 meet schedule on Wednesday morning.

 

The Cats begin their quest for a GCAC Championship on September 1 as Head Coach Kendrick Vivians' squads hit the ground running with the annual Memphis Twilight Classic at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex on the campus of Christian Brothers University.

 

The Blue and White make a return trip to Bluff City on September 16 for the Rhodes Invitational on the beautiful Shelby Farms Course.

 

Next on the docket, RC stays in northern Mississippi with the short drive East towards Blue Mountain to compete in the Topper Trails Classic on September 30.

 

For the second straight season, the campus of Rust College will once again host a cross country tournament as the "Rust Invitational" takes place on October 7, making it the regular season finale for both teams.

 

Lastly, the men and women from Holly Springs depart for Decatur, Alabama, and the Oakville Mounds Indian Course, matching up with its fellow conference counterparts to see who will earn the automatic qualifier to NAIA Regionals.
